South Africans love a good laugh and it was no different when a video of an interaction between two TV hosts when viral.

The video hit the trend lists after two Namibian presenters had a bit of an uncomfortable moment, live on air.

NBC Namibia News presenter Elmarie Kapunda starts to hand over to sports presenter Jessica Kaimu and shares some thoughts on a fight, but it's not long before the sports presenter cuts her off.

Things tense up and someone tells her "Jessica, we are live," and pretty soon the phrase hit the trend lists in South Africa.

The two TV hosts have now been removed from the national broadcaster’s lineup, according to a local newspaper.

Even South African news anchor Sakina Kamwendo and her colleague Vaylen Kirtley re-enacted the interaction on SABC’s Morning Live.

In the video, Elmarie can be heard speaking about a boxing match, before turning to Jessica Kaimu.

Jessica stops her from speaking and says: “No. We are not going to do that. You’re just going to greet me and say 'take it away'.”

Elmarie informs that that they are live and after an awkward silence, the clip ends.

Jessica has taken to social media to say there is no bad blood between her and Elmarie and that she did not realize that they were live.

Now both of them are off the line up as a result of the incident. It has apparently caused great embarrassment to the broadcaster.
