There's truth in the saying “to whom much is given, much is required”.
Perhaps this is something Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng should have thought about before his controversial prayer that included remarks about the Covid-19 vaccine.
But he’s not the only one who’s publicly blundered into an area they know very little about – there are many examples, from politicians to celebrities and businesses, of people posting ill-informed and sometimes offensive comments without thinking through the consequences.
