He is popularly known for his fun #PhoyisaChallenge and he got everybody posting videos on social media under the hashtag.

This year has started off on a tragic note, though, for Qwesta Kufet. While people were celebrating the month of love last month, the Rockville-born artist was dealing with missing a UK tour that commenced on 7 February 2022 due to visa application issues. While dealing with the disappointment of missing that tour, he then found out that his little sister, Lebohang Mofokeng, had been killed.

“When I found out that I lost my sister I was in disbelief because I had recently just spoken to her," he tells Drum. "I knew that I had to make a plan to come up with funds to bury her because she is my little sister. I am an artist and entertainer and receiving such news when your only job is ensuring that you get gigs is stressful. I was fortunate to get a call from some artists who wanted a feature, I went to the studio and got paid. That is how I got to bury Lebo,” says the influencer whose real name is Lehlohonolo Mofokeng.
