Spread the love during lockdown

Do you feel as if you could do more to play your part during lockdown? The truth is, the wonderfully courageous act of staying home and giving up our daily pleasures and routine is more powerful than you think, so give yourself a high five – and wash your hands for 20 seconds just to be safe.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has been praised for his decisive and well-informed response to the Covid-19 pandemic, and while it was hard to accept, it’s all been for our greater good.No more morning jogs, visiting friends and family or walking the dog – and a ban on drinking to avoid alcohol-related problems and lowering the immune system.

The coronavirus doesn’t spread itself, people spread the virus and staying home has helped keep the numbers down. So try your best to soldier on and keep pushing for the greater good. We need to stand together against this invisible enemy,  to flatten the curve and say “Yes, Mr President” – yes to staying home if you’re not an essential worker, yes to staying indoors, and following precautions when you do need to head outdoors, and yes to helping one another where we can.

If you’d like to do your bit, simply show you care and spread the message of solidarity among your Facebook friends. We can all be heroes, social influencers and the reason why the virus stops spreading – so that we can get back to our beautiful lives with so much more gratitude for our loved ones and our country.

How to get involved:

Support the measures put in place by simply adding a frame to your Facebook profile picture to help spread the word. Let’s all say #YesMrPresident and stop the spread of the coronavirus.

Here’s how to add the specially created frame to your Facebook profile:

1. Go to www.facebook.com/profilepicframes.

2. Search for the frame by entering the frame’s name, #YesMrPresident

3. Select the #YesMrPresident frame.

4. Click Use as Profile Picture.

5. You’re good to go!

Stay safe and take care, Move! team.
