Stokvels are part of the booming economy, especially in townships and rural areas and every event we do proves it. The DRUM/FNB stokvel was one for the books. The audience was engaging, the content was new and fresh, and the prizes were never-ending.
DRUM held a virtual stokvel event in association with FNB recently where the audience was entertained and educated on several finance-related topics.
There was the exciting prospect of building a stokvel account with FNB and we finally got to answer some of our readers’ burning questions about property stokvels.
The readers learnt that they can buy property using their stokvel money and they could either pay it through the stokvel account, or individually.
There was also information shared on the growth of stokvels in the country and just how far they have come in a few short years.
