She is known for making sexually empowering music for black woman and being the voice for body positivity in South Africa.

Singer and songwriter Moonchild Sanelly is one South African artist who has used her voice in music for sex education as well as empowering the masses to embrace their thunder thighs, full breasts and to be proud of all body types and sizes.

She has graced international stages and was even featured in Beyoncé's album, The Lion King: The Gift.

We had a conversation with her about her journey of sexual liberation and where her confidence and love for sex started from.

Although she was a late bloomer who witnessed her friends experiment early in high school, she knew that her sex journey would be different and once she started being active, she realised that sex was not created for male pleasure but that it was an experience that was meant to be enjoyed by both men and women.

She was on her international tour when we sat down with her for a girl chat, and this is how it went.
