Why SAA backpay hardball needs a compromise

Perhaps the best way out of the current stand-off between the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) and some unions at South African Airways (SAA) regarding backpay, would be to negotiate a middle ground, suggests business rescue expert Alex Eliott of Eliott Attorneys.

"Most companies in business rescue would be doomed if everybody stood on their rights. There has to be a compromise," he says.
