FlySafair wins award

Cape Town - FlySafair has won the Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) Feather Award 2015 for the Best Airline Domestic Services (Low Cost) Service Provider for OR Tambo International Airport.

The Feather Awards this year recognised and thanked the top-performing stakeholders in their respective categories for excellent performance and service rendered to passengers, and is based on airlines’ performance across baggage handling, on-time departure and overall customer service. The criteria for the awards change annually.

“We are proud to have won this award after our first year of operations and want to thank all our staff, supporters and partners who helped make this possible. 2015 has certainly been an interesting year for the aviation industry and we are excited that our drive and commitment is being recognised," said Kirby Gordon, VP of sales and distribution at FlySafair.

"We lead in terms of on-time performance and we have increased our domestic footprint significantly over the last year. We are committed to building on this solid foundation and continuing to provide value to our passengers.”
