Cape Town – French power utility EDF announced on Wednesday that it intends to submit a response to Eskom’s request for information (RFI) for the 9.6 GW nuclear new build procurement programme.

The announcement follows a statement by Russian nuclear firm Rosatom on Tuesday, which also said it intended to submit a response.
