It won't just take a presidential commission to achieve a just transition

The Presidential Coordinating Commission on Climate Change, appointed by President Cyril Ramapohosa last year to guide the just transition to a low-carbon economy will have its first meeting this month. But it will take more than just the commission, or a single stakeholder such as government or an entity like Eskom, to ensure successful implementation of a just transition, according to an economist.
