Cartel probe: Epic Foods denies wrongdoing

Cape Town - Epic Foods on Friday denied engaging in any conduct of an anti-competitive nature, following a raid by the Competition Commission.

"Epic Foods management and staff takes these allegations very seriously and will continue to operate with the utmost honest, integrity and proficiency," the company said in a statement.  

"We have and as always will continue to co-operate with the Competition Commission and their current investigation until its finality."
