African countries will continue to face governance challenges in 2021, while in South Africa the ruling ANC is still in "intensive care" and may have to die to truly purge itself of corruption, says billionaire Dr Mo Ibrahim.

The Sudanese-born businessman, who in 2006 established a foundation to support good governance in Africa, was speaking at a Deloitte webinar on the outlook for 2021. The virtual event was held on Wednesday.
