Cape Town - The vote to keep President Jacob Zuma in power was a vote for corruption, the Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA) said shortly after the official announcement.

OUTA said it is disappointed that MPs within the ANC "chose to put their party ahead of the nation".

“The vote to keep Zuma in power is a vote for corruption. It’s a vote to perpetuate the decay of our once proud and growing nation," said OUTA chair Wayne Duvenage.
