Hong Kong stocks end morning with more hefty losses

Hong Kong - Hong Kong stocks ended on Friday morning with more steep losses, extending a sharp sell-off into a fourth straight day as traders struggled to track a positive lead from Wall Street.

The Hang Seng Index shed 1.41%, or 351.53 points, to 24 642.93 by the break.
