Hong Kong stocks finish morning flat

Hong Kong shares headed into the break marginally lower Thursday as a positive lead from Wall Street was offset by a mixed bag of Chinese data that reinforced concerns about the world's number two economy.

The Hang Seng Index inched down 7.70 points, to 28 799.75.
