Hong Kong stocks head into break with gains

Hong Kong - Hong Kong stocks ended the morning slightly higher on Tuesday following another strong lead from Wall Street but gains were tempered by profit-taking after recent gains.

The Hang Seng Index added 0.16%, or 48.56 points, to 31 046.54.
