The GameStop stock bubble that is already deflating has had many investors looking out for similar signs of unexplained stock market rises to avoid investment landmines.

The JSE, which has been hitting all-time record highs since January, has caused some market observers to question if it is not in the middle of a bubble.

On Friday, data from Trade Economic showed that the FTSE/JSE Top 40 was up by over 11% year-to-date. The FTSE/JSE All-share Index (ALSI) was also up 10.79%, having reached a record high of 66 150 points on 10 February.
