The JSE, which has been hitting all-time record highs since January, has caused some market observers to question if it is not in the middle of a bubble.
On Friday, data from Trade Economic showed that the FTSE/JSE Top 40 was up by over 11% year-to-date. The FTSE/JSE All-share Index (ALSI) was also up 10.79%, having reached a record high of 66 150 points on 10 February.
