European stock markets climb at open

Europe's main stock markets advanced in opening deals on Tuesday, after earlier gains across most of Asia, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.7% at 6 768.26 points.

In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index gained 0.5% to 13 919.40 points and the Paris CAC 40 also won 0.5% to 5 643.47.
