Capitec apologises to clients over banking fuss

Cape Town - Capitec had to do damage control after a problem with banking services left clients fuming over the weekend.

The bank, which revealed in September that 648 000 new clients joined Capitec in the six months to end-August, suffered downtime due to connection issues. 

A Fin24 user said he tried withdrawing cash on Saturday at several different places, but was unsuccessful.
