Cape Town - The most expensive home in the world has 775 rooms, including 19 State rooms, 52 Royal and guest bedrooms, 188 staff rooms, 92 offices, and 78 bathrooms. It's of course Buckingham Palace in London and is home to Queen Elizabeth II.

Originally built as a private “large townhouse” for the Duke of Buckingham in 1703, the palace was acquired by King George III 58 years after.
