The Central Energy Fund (CEF) anticipates gas to flow from TotalEnergies' two major deepwater discoveries off the coast of Mossel Bay as soon as 2024 – a tight timeline for the parastatal as it looks to refurbish PetroSA's idle refinery in time to receive the gas.
