Insurers are worried about another wave of a different nature as doctors discover new things about Covid-19 on a daily basis, raising the possibility of a spike in serious illnesses and disability claims. 

As people had been deferring their routine check-ups, missing vaccines and delaying surgeries due to social distancing, Momentum also raised alarm bells about ill-health in future.
