Ninety One says while investors should not expect the same kind of equity market returns seen over the past 12 to 18 months, there's still more money to be made.

It says the equity market is likely to do well even when central banks worldwide start to hike interest rates.

The asset manager, which de-merged from Investec and listed separately on the JSE in March 2020, is buying more SA banks, SA retailers and mining stocks - sectors it wasn't too keen on before the pandemic.
