Daniel Mantsha, former chairperson of the Denel board, has told the state capture commission of inquiry that he was not aware that Rajesh "Tony" Gupta had tried to bribe former group CEO Riaz Saloojee.

Mantsha was appointed to head the Denel board in 2015, something that has been seen as move to make way for the Guptas to takeover Denel. Most of the former Denel chairperson’s testimony at the inquiry on Friday was focused on responding to Saloojee’s allegations against him in his previous testimony.
