Not so fast, Comair, British Airways will not be the only premier service on offer domestically once it resumes flights in December, according to Airlink CEO Rodger Foster.
A premier service usually offers aspects like free catering, lounge offerings, flexibility on seats and often even frequent flyer programmes - aspects attractive to business travellers.
Fin24 recently reported that, in the view of a representative of the Comair Rescue Consortium, the winning bidder in Comair's business rescue process, its British Airways brand will be the only premier service provider in the SA domestic market due to South African Airways (SAA) - also in business rescue like Comair - still being mothballed. Comair operates two brands, namely Kulula.com and British Airways domestically and British Airways.
