It is regrettable that there has not been more government support for the whole South African aviation industry during the coronavirus pandemic, but it remains the political choice, of course, for the government to mainly support the national flag carrier South African Airways (SAA), Alexandre de Juniac, director-general and CEO of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) said on Thursday.
