Spar's board will investigate changing the way it shares financial information of stores with prospective buyers "as a matter of urgency", its newly appointed chairperson has said.
"It's something that we at Spar are looking at. What information is being provided, and on what basis is it provided," said Mike Bosman.
Bosman, who is also the chair of Spur, was appointed Spar chair on 15 December following the resignation of Graham O’Connor. A month later, the retailer's CEO Brett Botten also announced his resignation.
