Service delivery in SA's municipalities has been a challenge for businesses - and Steers owner, Famous Brands is not exempt, with CEO Darren Hele saying the group suffered a daily impact.
"I think those kinds of issues around water, electricity and governance at municipalities are the three … things that keep us awake at night. Because they impact on us every day," said Hele.
The CEO of the JSE listed company said that, like many people in South Africa, he was concerned about the shortcomings of municipalities. He was speaking to Fin24 after presenting Famous Brands’ results for the six months ended 31 August.
