Sanlam has announced that it will take full control of BrightRock and combine its fiduciary business with Capital Legacy.

Sanlam has announced that it will take full control of BrightRock and combine its fiduciary business with Capital Legacy. Sanlam acquired a 53% majority stake in BrightRock in 2017, bringing a new disruptor in the industry to its stable. It subsequently increased that to 62% and will now take that to 100%.

In 2019, Patrice Motsepe's African Rainbow Capital, whose parent company Ubuntu-Botho Investments is Sanlam's strategic empowerment partner, acquired a minority stake in estate planning company Capital Legacy.
