With all parts of the state capture report now published, civil society group Open Secrets is gearing up for the new challenge – getting SA's law enforcement agencies to act.
This week, the Cape Town-based NGO, which investigates economic crimes, published a 150-page report into two dozen "urgent" cases against "looters, fixers, and politicians" at four state-owned entities.
The report, Wanted: The State Capture Conspirators, serves both as a reference guide to who is accused of what, and a jeremiad against years of inaction by the police, the Hawks and the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).
