South African Airways (SAA) has been given 90 days to address breaches of aviation law - including providing more information about the Takatso deal and management changes - or risk losing its air service licences.

Last week the Air Services Licensing Council suspended the licences of SAA's low-cost subsidiary Mango, which is currently in business rescue and hoping to conclude a sale of the airline. It also suspended licences for kulula.com operator Comair, which is currently in provisional liquidation.
