A shift to lockdown Level 1 from Sunday will see restrictions lifted on gatherings, travel and the general movement of people, as the curfew has been adjusted. However, the risk of a second wave of infections persists and President Cyril Ramaphosa and others have urged South Africans to stick to health protocols - among these is working from home, if they can.

But further ashore, just a few weeks ago, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson wanted Britons to return to their office spaces in an effort to bolster the UK economy.
