Former public enterprises minister Lynne Brown has lamented the reputational damage she suffered following allegations that she was under the influence of the controversial Gupta family.

She appeared before state capture commission on Thursday to testify in response to findings in the damning 2018 Fundudzi report on irregularities at state-owned entities (SOEs).

In the report, concerns were raised about the appointment of the board of arms manufacturer Denel while she was the Minister of Public Enterprises.
