The government intends to plug a funding gap of R441 billion for 55 infrastructure projects at this year's second Sustainable Infrastructure Development Symposium, according to Public Works and Infrastructure Minister Patricia de Lille.

The inaugural symposium was held in June last year.

The forum is an opportunity for the government to showcase infrastructure projects and attract private sector funding.
