Anyone who has heard a good radio hit knows that a remix (basically the same song re-released with new elements included) can freshen up a good record.

But anyone who has heard all 193 remixes of Lil Nas X's 2018 smash hit record, Old Town Road, knows sometimes one version is more than enough.

When President Cyril Ramaphosa appeared during a virtual parliamentary sitting to defend his Economic Reconstruction and Recovery Plan, there was no shortage of criticism levelled at the document developed to guide South Africa's economic rebound after the Covid-19 pandemic.
