If the US is a country with many great cities, then there is no reason why South Africa can't be one too.

Development company Knowledge Pele is aiming to do just that by supporting the local economic development of the railway town of Touwsrivier.

Located in the Cape Winelands District, the town is home to the 36 MW concentrated solar plant CPV1 - which is part of the country's Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REI4P).
