European stocks climb at open

European stock markets climbed at the start of trading on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.1% at 6 622.72 points.

In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index gained 0.3% to 13 934.13 points and the Paris CAC 40 added 0.3% to 5 746.63.
