European stock markets rise in early deals

Europe's main stock markets rose in early trade on Wednesday, with London's FTSE 100 index jumping almost 0.9% to 7 669.93 points.

In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 won 0.3% to 12 713.39 points compared with the closing level on Tuesday.

The Paris CAC 40 index meanwhile added nearly 0.2% to stand at 5 398.96, after a brief technical glitch at the opening.
