Hong Kong stocks up at break

Hong Kong - Hong Kong shares rose in the morning session on Friday, tracking a lead from Wall Street and with investors hoping China and the US can avert a full-blown trade war.

The Hang Seng Index added 0.58%, or 164.87 points, to 28 645.70.
