TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 31 AUGUST 2020

In terms of Section 3.4(b)(i) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the Board of
Directors of L4L reports that the group's financial results for the six months ended 31 August
2020 (the period) will differ by more than 20% from those reported for the six months ended
31 August 2019 (the prior comparable period).

Basic earnings and headline earnings per share for the period are both expected to be within
the range 0.1 cents and 1.5 cents per share a decrease of between 90% and 100%,
compared to both the earnings and headline earnings of 14.5 cents per share reported in the
prior comparable period.

Profitability for the period was negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic which affected
all three divisions in the group. Immediately after the lockdown was announced, swift and
purposeful action was taken especially in relation to cash preservation. Full details of these
and all other actions taken will be available on publication of the groups results.
The group's results for the period will be published on SENS on or about Wednesday, 21
October 2020 where details of the groups financial position and divisional performance will
be provided.

The information above has not been reviewed and reported on by the groups auditors.
