In this week's episode of Fin24's SA Money Report, we smoke out allegations against cigarette behemoth British American Tobacco, including spying, bribery of a former southern African president, and links to terror funding.

Obviously British American Tobacco - whose products, along with other tobacco companies, cause lung cancer, throat cancer, mouth cancer, a bunch of other cancers, and unsurprisingly, death - wants to stub out these allegations.

Helping us to sift through this ashes and check if the multinational is just blowing smoke, is Fin24 investigative reporter extraordinaire Jan Cronje.

Fin24's aim with this new, weekly series is to take complex issues and break them down in a way that gives listeners an insight into a world that can often be impenetrable, either because of really dense figures, ratios and percentages - or because you need to navigate obscure financial terminology.

New episodes of the show, hosted by Fin24 deputy editor Ahmed Areff, will be released every Friday.
