When the taps in my home ran dry this weekend, my initial reaction was to laugh. Things like this tend to happen often in my neighbourhood, and I reassure myself that it's the acceptable cost of finding a decently priced home with a nice yard so that my family can live out their hobbit-like, being-one-with-nature fantasies.
