OPINION | SA e-commerce could be worth R225bn in just five years

Recent research by McKinsey Retail Practice shows that, in the US, there was 10 years' worth of e-commerce penetration growth in just three months this year. In South Africa, meanwhile, the value of e-commerce transactions is expected to surge some 150% in five years, says Aluwani Thenga.
