Finance Minister Tito Mboweni needs to demonstrate that he is present and hands-on in these troubled times, says Ron Derby. 

On what was the second anniversary of his return to public office after more than a decade in the political cold, as ANC sycophants label it, Tito Mboweni tweeted that when things are difficult, he goes into his library and re-reads political books for hours on end to answer the question: "What is to be done? What is expected now from a reasonable human being?"
