Under President Cyril Ramaphosa, South Africa the country brand has therefore become like a moving target comprising the good, the bad, and the possible. It is the latter that ensures Ramaphosa continues to benefit for many people – inside and outside the ANC – who consider him to be the "last ANC hope for South Africa", says Solly Moeng.
