iPhone 7 and 7 Plus available for pre-order now

Johannesburg - The Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are currently available for pre-order with prices on contract from network providers expected to be revealed soon.

The devices, expected to be available for South Africans on Friday 14 October, are currently available for pre-order from MTN and Vodacom.

According to myistore.co.za the iPhone 7 cost will start from R12 999 while the 7 Plus will begin retailing at R15 499.

The cheapest Watch Series 2 will retail at R6 899 with the most expensive going up to R19 499.

The latest iPhone ditched the analog headphone jack in favour of wireless earbud phones.

Apple's new iPhone features a faster processor, an updated home button and will come with water and dust protection.

Camera improvements include a new flash with four rather than two shades of color to match ambient light.

High-end photographers can get images in RAW format, which allows for more versatile editing, matching what many leading cameras now have.
