The Real Meal Revolution has taken South Africa by storm, having sold over 160,000 copies of the book in less than a year and setting social media alight with debate and Banting success stories. To continue this food and health revolution, the team is proud to announce it will now be offering the world’s first interactive online Banting course, accessible to a worldwide audience.
Starting 3 November 2014, The Beginner Banting course will provide participants with all the knowledge, tools and motivation to successfully adopt and maintain the Banting lifestyle, with all the added benefits.

The course will be delivered completely online over a period of five weeks through video-based lessons, Q&A sessions and recipe demonstrations, presented by Prof Tim Noakes, Sally-Ann Creed and Jonno Proudfoot.
Each lesson will also include supplementary notes and there will be quizzes to test one’s knowledge. The course will give participants access to over one hundred delicious new Banting recipes that have been specifically put together by the RMR team and are also beautifully presented by Jonno through cooking videos.
A major drawcard of this interactive online course is that each participant will have access to a Real Meal Certified Instructor who will be able to answer any questions and provide assistance in helping one get a solid footing in the Banting lifestyle. Additionally, one will also be able to interact with a community of other participants on the course.
The Banting lifestyle revolves around eating real food, with low amounts of carbohydrates and high amounts of fat. Many people have experienced great success with Banting after unsuccessfully attempting various quick-fix diets.
In addition to weight loss, people who have become Banters report feeling more energetic as well as experiencing vast improvement when it comes to a range of chronic illnesses, including diabetes.
“We are excited to be able to offer this online course, as it enables us to provide a rich interactive environment that will provide all the knowledge and necessary feedback to participants to enable the successful adoption of Banting”, says Jonno Proudfoot, chef and co-author of the book.

“This course also enables us to more easily reach a global audience, helping to bring us closer to our vision of changing the way the world eats and ultimately improving the health of people around the globe. We have had a high amount of interest and the course is filling up quickly.”
