Lower back pain after fall
I am female, 21 and I suffer from a painful lower seems to have started about 5 years ago when I was doing a backbend and a friend thought it would be funny to tickle me and I twisted my back. Its a sharp pain, deep within the left hand side of the coxyx, radiating throughout the lower back. Some days it swells up and the one side of my coxyx becomes visible due to the swelling. I have no idea what kind of doctor to contact, as I have only ever been to a regular GP. Do i go to a chiropractor, or go for xrays first? Or do I contact a physiotherapist? I have no idea....

The coccyx is what could also be called the tail bone. It is right at the bottom of the spine. Just above it is the sacrum. I think this is where it sounds like your pain may be coming from if not a bit higher, especially if it radiates to the back. Assuming it is the sacrum, sometimes if it goes out of whack you can get what's called sacro-iliac dysfunction or sacroillitis.
A physio would probably be a good person to get an assessment from and some mobilization of the joint.

Good luck
