Marks caused by high cholestrol
I have high Cholestrol which is under control. Because of this I have deveopled yellow marks on the upper lids of both eyes, The are not hard in texture but soft like an extra skin. I find this very unslightly and am very aware of them. Is there anyway that they can be removed or made less visible?

There are at least two methods of treatment. They can be excised by a plastic surgeon. The cosmetic results are generally excellent. They can be chemically cauterized- eg trichloracetic acid. Many dermatologists have experience with the latter method. Control of the blood lipids is essential.
