pain in the groin
a friend of mine has a problem and i dont know how to help,he says that he woke up yesterday morning and went to the toilet to urinate,he noticed that his urine had a funny milkish colour&after 5 minutes he started getting pains in his urethra,ureter and scrotum and then later during the day when he went to the toilet nothing happened,there was no pain no funny colour in the urine just normal urine.he did consult a GP though and they took a urien sample which revealed that there is a bit of blood in the urine but it is nothing to worry about and he was given antibiotics for treatment.ever since yesterday he has never had the same thing again so i was just wondering what colud have been the problem.i would really appreciate your help.

Blood in the urine is NEVER NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. He MUST SEE A UROLOGIST. This is not a common presentation and it is difficult to say what the cause was.

Get the GP to send the urine to a laboratory to check how much blood is in the urine. If there are more than 5000 red blood cells per ml of urine, your friend needs a workup for blood in the urine.
